From fall 2024 through spring 2025, our main diamond underwent a remarkable transformation — and it's all because of so many in our community. After years of faithful service, the field was ready for a fresh start, and this community answered the call in a big way. New fencing, brand-new dugouts, new bleachers, a new pitching mound, and cement padding for the fan areas have brought new life to the park we all love. None of this would have been possible without the incredible generosity of so many people right here in our community. Those donations didn't just rebuild a field — they invested in every player, family, and fan who will enjoy this space for years to come. Bear Ace Hardware
In February of 1986, long-time Nappanee residents Kim & Pam Stickley opened Coast to Coast Hardware. Two years later, they purchased the True Value store in Nappanee. They immediately moved the store to a larger location and converted it to Ace Hardware. Since those beginnings, the business has continued to grow with the addition of Ligonier Ace Hardware in 1993, Six Span Ace in Elkhart in 1997, LaGrange Ace Hardware in 2015, and Bremen Ace Hardware in 2017.
Cromwell Kimmell Lions
The Cromwell-Kimmell Lions Club is a community service organization based in the Cromwell area of Noble County, Indiana. As part of Lions Clubs International — founded in 1917 and best known for fighting blindness — they volunteer for many different kinds of community projects to meet local needs. The club has been recognized for building accessibility ramps for neighbors, helping with food needs and utility bills, and actively recruiting new members. They also help organize community events like the Cromwell Days Festival, which features a pancake and sausage breakfast, a softball tournament, and a parade. The club awards scholarships to local West Noble High School graduates as well. In 2024, they were named the Noble County Lions Club of the Year for their service efforts and growth.
